A large Regional Authority operating 11 water pollution control plants and 52 sanitary sewage pumping stations, many in residential areas, had offsite fugitive odors that were leading to many complaints. The Authority needed a system to treat hydrogen sulfide and other odors generated in these facilities before they escaped.
Pyure designed custom solutions that effectively treated pumping stations, chemical rooms and headworks buildings. The solutions were deployed in a number of installations.
The Authority reported a significant reduction in odors and complaints from nearby residents. Staff indicated much improved air quality in these sites. The Authority subsequently specified Pyure Technology into the design basis of future installations.
